Counselling over the telephone
 

1) Either you can call us at the phone number 00 33 390 00 65 84 (stationary) or 00 33 62 80 70 362 (cell) to briefly explain your problem and make an appointment.

Or you can write us an e-mail at canix@canix.org with the reference “COUNSELLING BEHAVIOUR” to briefly explain your problem and make an appointment.

2) At the agreed time we will call you in order for the phone costs to be on our account. (See below for the phone costs of your area.) Normally the first call will be of two hours. During this first call we will ask you very many questions and we will listen very carefully to your concerns. Then we will make the diagnosis and recommend you a therapy program in order to solve the problem. We will explain it thoroughly and you can ask us your doubts until you feel confident about it.

3) After this conversation, over the e-mail we will send you a summary of the therapy program we have discussed and that you should carry out.

4) After one or two weeks we will perform a second very short call. This is only for you to explain to us the changes and improvements you are seeing in your dog and for you to clear up any doubts that you have. This call will be of approximately one quarter of an hour.

5) If you really take it seriously and put your efforts into the program we designed, as a rule of thumb the problem will be solved after six weeks. Therefore, after six weeks we have to talk briefly in order to evaluate the results and specially to advise you on how to proceed in the future. This call will be of approximately three quarters of an hour.

The rate is 125 euros per hour. Distributed among the three calls the total will be 375 euros. Before we can initiate the described process this amount plus the phone costs must be credited the following account in Banco Santander Central Hispano no. 0049 1926 72 2210039881. Payment must be received at least 3 DAYS before the call.

Generally, to solve a behavioural problem in a lasting way, you should count six weeks.

The owner of the dog is the sole responsible for putting the therapy program we designed into practice. Regrettably, we have no influence when it comes to carrying out the advice or not. That is the reason why we can not guarantee a total success in all cases. However, we can guarantee that we will put at your disposal all our knowledge and all our experience in all cases. Also, we do guarantee only to recommend human and non-violent initiatives that have proven effective. These initiatives will also strengthen the relationship and the communication between you and your dog.
