How does it function?

You first call Canix to make an appointment for a time when you can come together with you dog. We only see people by appointment.

During the first visit you will in detail describe the behavioural problems your dog displays. We will ask a range of questions to better understand the problems and their possible cause. Through this process we will make the diagnosis and explain what you need to do to solve them. In addition to the verbal explanation, you will also receive a written description of the steps you need to follow. The first visit normally lasts 2 hours.

Approximately 2 weeks after the first visit, there will be a follow-up session where you describe to us the current situation as well as any changes and improvements you have seen in your dog. We may give recommendations for changes or additions to the correction program you are following in order to adapt it to the new situation.

Approximately 4 weeks later we meet again and you explain to us how the dog is developing. If you have followed the correction program in the majority of cases the problem(s) will at this time be solved. If this is not the case, we will of course advise you what steps should be taken next.

You should generally expect that most problems require 6 weeks of treatment before they are finally solved.

In case it is only possible for you to visit Canix in connection with the first visit, the following sessions can be handled over the phone.

The consultation service described above is Euro 375, including taxes.

It is solely the dog's owner who is responsible for carrying out our advises. It is not within our power to ensure whether this happens or not. For this reason we cannot guarantee a success in all cases. We can, however, guarantee that we will place all our experience and expertise at your disposal in order to solve the problem and that we will only propose humane, non-violent methods which will strengthen the relationship and communication between you and your dog. These methods have been tried in practice and have shown to be very effective for solving behavioural problems.
